i love seeing pictures that have a hood with a dress, especially in a kitchen. probably because the day we brought my hood home from the store, after buying it on a whim, i was wearing my favorite little red dress. by the time we got home, we were too excited to wait for our scheduled playtime. it went on, with my dress and shoes and everything still on, in the middle of the kitchen. my hands went out to the sides as though i could touch the edges of my strange warm dark new little world and my breathing went short. he touched my lips, startling me, and he told me that i was smiling.
